Public Interest Grants
Summer Public Interest Grants
Public Interest Scholarships from PILF are awarded to select Loyola Law School students (1-2L, 1-3E) who work for an approved public interest law firm during the summer. Criteria for the award include demonstrated commitment to PILF, public interest participation, and other factors. Applications are available to students in late Spring Semester.
In 2007, PILF gave out sixteen $1,000 public interest grants.
Public Interest Bar Stipends
A few Loyola Law School students demonstrating strong commitment to public interest law may be awarded the prestigious PILF Bar Stipend, awarded following graduation, to be used in preparation for the California BAR exam.
Applications for 2008 Summer Public Interest Grants and Public Interest Bar Stipends are available on the pilf.org Forms and Downloads page.
